Tell your story with a photo

Close-up of a tarball that landed on Dauphin Island, Ala., on May 13, 2010. NOAA photo.

BetterGulf.org encourages submission of new original photos about all aspects of the Gulf oil spill.  Why?

First, we believe photos taken by people across the South about the spill, cleanup and devastating impacts will tell stories in ways that words just can’t.

Second, sharing photos will make what’s happening have more of a personal impact.

And third, it’s important to document the spill’s impact on people’s lives.
